The MarinHelpers job matching service has been suspended as of September 15, 2012.  Since July 1, 2009 we matched 721 workers with 277 employers.  We are happy to know that we helped so many workers and homeowners connect with each other.  Thank you for using our service and telling your friends about us.

What is available at this site is well researched information on what the law has to say about homeowners hiring temporary workers and some tips on how to handle the process since we won’t be here to do the match for you.  See the Resources link at the top of the page.

If you would like to have a job posted for two weeks on the Canal Alliance job board located in our main lobby area, choose the Post a Job link at the top of the page to submit your job request.

After we have had some time to regroup and reflect on what we have learned, we are interested in launching a different kind of job matching project where employers can connect with workers directly on-site rather than just using a web or telephone based system.  When that new project is launched we hope that you will use it for your temporary worker needs.
